A true cube: 35.5 inches on both dimensions, in fibreglass. The only square planter here, and the only piece besides its rectangular sibling whose material the maker states.
A cube reads as deliberately modern in a way none of the jars do, and it pairs with a clipped form better than with a loose one — the geometry of the container and the geometry of the plant reinforce each other. Being fibreglass rather than fired clay, it is also much lighter than its size suggests, which matters on a roof terrace or a balcony where weight is limited. It is a fraction of the weight of the glazed pieces beside it, which is what fibreglass does for weight in one line.
