Lighted dog topiary is for the dog lover who wants the breed on show after dark as well as by day. The pieces are small, 13 to 21 in, so they fit a step, a windowsill or a table, and they are light enough to move around until the layout works. The breeds run from a 13 in dachshund to a 21 in beagle, basset hound or cocker spaniel, with a corgi, a pug and a Westie among those in between. Each is a wire frame wound with clear mini lights. They are not LED.

A pair of lighted dogs at the door
A pair looks planned. Set two of the same breed either side of the front door and the step is framed every evening, in person and in photos. Mixed pairs work too, such as a Scottie and a Westie.
The dogs are sold singly, so add two to the cart. Check how far the door is from an outlet before you order. For height behind them, a pre-lit cone or spiral from lighted artificial topiary fills the space.
Lighted dog topiary outside: what to know
The steel frame can stay outside all year. The lights need some planning. Outdoors, plug into an outdoor outlet with a weatherproof cover that stays closed while the plug is in.
On most US light sets, a red UL holographic label means indoor and outdoor use, and a green mark means indoor only. Ask us about the set on your dog before it goes out in the weather. Lit dogs indoors and as gifts
Indoors, a lit dog in a front window shows to the street after dark, and the smaller breeds fit a sideboard or a hall table. No outdoor outlet is needed.

Can a lighted dog topiary stay outside?
The frame can. The steel stays outdoors all year. The lights are the part to plan for: use lights outdoors only as an outdoor-rated set on a GFCI outlet with an in-use weatherproof cover, and ask us about the set on your dog before you leave it out in rain or snow.

Can I get my dog's breed lighted if it is not listed?
Usually, yes. Other breeds and bigger sizes can be built lit to order, and custom or out-of-stock builds take 4 to 10 weeks. Send the breed and the height you want, with a photo if you have one. See custom-made topiary.
How far ahead should I order for Christmas?

Can I buy the same dog without lights?

Do you ship lighted topiary to Canada?
Yes. We ship across the US and Canada. The lighted dogs are small enough to go by parcel, UPS or FedEx. Returns are accepted for 15 days after delivery, and if a shipment arrives damaged, refuse it.
Can an existing topiary be lit?
Usually, yes. Send us photographs of the piece and where it stands, and we will tell you what the lighting would involve and what it costs.
