Trade pricing on volume and repeat orders
Trade pricing typically runs 10–20% below the retail figures in the shop, set against quantity and how often you order — deeper on standing programmes. Tell us both and we price the job rather than the item.
Live, preserved and artificial in one place
Match the material to the site instead of the other way round — live where it will thrive, preserved indoors, artificial where nothing will grow.
Spec help before you quote, not after you win
Send the drawing or the site photographs and we will tell you what holds its shape there, at what size, and what it costs you.
How the piece is engineered.
The parts of a commission a photograph does not show, and the reason a piece is still standing in five years.
Internal steel tubing above six feet
Anything over six feet gets steel tubing run inside the frame. Our pieces are not built for climbing — but if someone does climb on one, the structure will not fold. Many competitors’ frames carry no internal support at all.
Stainless, galvanised or powder-coated
The armature is welded steel, finished against corrosion for wherever it is going, and built to outlive the foliage on it rather than to hold a shape for one season.
Installed by us, and watered by itself
On-site installation for anything large, across the US and Canada. Live pieces can have automatic irrigation built in, so nobody has to remember them.
Three ranges, one purchase order.
These are the retail starting prices from the shop. Trade pricing sits below them and is set against volume — ask when you send the list.
Live boxwood
Spirals, cones, balls and standards, grown and shaped, for planting on site.
Preserved boxwood
Real foliage, preserved. Holds its colour indoors for years with no water and no daylight.
Artificial and outdoor-rated
UV-rated faux for roofs, atria, deep shade and anywhere a live plant will not survive.
Live, preserved or artificial — what to spec.
Every job comes down to this choice. The honest version, so you can put it in your own quote.
| Consideration | Live boxwood | Preserved boxwood | Artificial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Planted beds and entrances with daylight and drainage | Interiors with little or no daylight — lobbies, offices, restaurants | Roofs, atria, deep shade, high traffic, and outdoors year round |
| Upkeep | Watering, feeding and trimming to hold the shape | Occasional dusting. No water, no feeding, no trimming | Occasional rinsing |
| Daylight | Needs it | None needed | None needed |
| Outdoors | Yes, within its climate zone | Covered outdoor space only — sun and damp degrade it | Yes, if you specify UV-rated |
| Starts around | $155.00 | $450.00 | $98.00 |

Four steps, and what we need from you.
-
1
Send the drawing or the plant list
Quantities, sizes and where it is going. Site photographs help us catch a problem before you have quoted it.
-
2
We come back with trade pricing and lead times
Priced against the volume and the schedule, with freight quoted separately so you can pass it through cleanly.
-
3
We hold your specification
Repeat orders and phase two come back as the same piece, not an approximation of it.
-
4
We ship to you, or drop-ship to the site
Anywhere in the US and Canada, to your yard or straight to your client, timed to your programme.
What “tabletop to forty feet” looks like.
The number in the strip at the top of this page is hard to picture. This is roughly what it means.
- A person, for scale
- Entrance pieces
- Life-size animals
- Landmark pieces
Tell us what you’re picturing.
Send a photo or a sketch with your dimensions and date. We come back with a design, a price and a delivery date — then build it in our own workshop.

Before you ask for a quote.
Do you offer wholesale topiary pricing?
We offer wholesale topiary pricing to landscapers, designers and interior contractors — typically 10–20% below retail depending on volume and frequency, deeper on standing programmes. Tell us both when you first get in touch, because they set the price.
Is there a minimum order for trade pricing?
There is no published minimum. Pricing is set against volume and frequency, so a smaller first order backed by a real programme is treated differently from a one-off.
Do you sell boxwood in bulk?
We sell boxwood in bulk in all three materials — live, preserved and artificial — in balls, cones, spirals, standards and hedging. Send the quantities and sizes and we will price the list.
Can you drop-ship to my client’s site?
We drop-ship anywhere in the US and Canada, direct to your client or to your yard, timed to your programme rather than ours.
Can you build to my drawing?
Building to a drawing is most of what we do. Send dimensions and the drawing and we will tell you what is buildable at that size before you commit to it in a quote.
Which should I spec — live, preserved or artificial?
Live for planted beds with daylight and drainage, preserved for interiors with no daylight, and UV-rated artificial for roofs, deep shade and anywhere outdoors that has to look the same all year. The table above sets them side by side.
Ready when you are.
