Thirty-one inches across and 29.5 tall, so effectively round in profile. There are two Chateau jars in the range and this is the smaller and squarer of the pair; the other is broader and lower.
Heirloom clay is the quietest finish we stock. It reads as bare fired clay rather than as a colour, which means it ages into a planting scheme instead of announcing itself, and it does not date the way a strong glaze can. The container is the easy half; the cultivars that stay small enough for a pot is the other one.
Chateau de Maisons pieces carry unglazed clay at the rim and base, left that way by the maker for contrast. Delivered by freight on a pallet. We work out the delivery cost and agree it with you before the piece ships, so nothing is charged until you have the figure.
