Horizontal lines run round the body of all three, which is where the name comes from and what separates these from the plain jars. The set measures 30 by 36 inches, 22 by 28, and 14 by 12.
Banding gives the surface something to do at a distance, so these hold up in an open space where a smooth pot flattens out. The smallest of the three is the smallest planter in the range and suits a young cone or a herb rather than a topiary. Most of what suits a group like this is in the live boxwood we grow.
Four finishes: heirloom white, verdigris, atlantis sky and aegean sea. The maker also sells this mould as a French wine barrel; it is the same piece under a second name. Delivered by freight on a pallet. We work out the delivery cost and agree it with you before the piece ships, so nothing is charged until you have the figure.
