A wooden orb, 2 inches across, drilled with a 3/4-inch hole and hung on a thread — a way to display an air plant without a pot or soil. The orb pictured is a dark, speckled colorway and holds a Tillandsia Baileyi x Streptophylla, which ships with it.
Because it hangs rather than sits, it works over a windowsill, in a doorway, or grouped along a shelf edge, anywhere with bright, indirect light. It also takes almost no counter or floor space, unlike a potted air plant display.
Air plants take no soil and draw water and nutrients through their leaves rather than roots, so care is misting rather than watering: 2-3 times a week is enough, with good airflow around it to stop mould.
