This display pairs two air plants — a Stricata Midnight and a Butzii — mounted directly onto a piece of white coral rock, no pot or soil required. The plants are included and already attached to the rock.
Air plants like these absorb water and nutrients through their leaves rather than roots, so care is simple: mist 2-3 times a week, give bright indirect light, and keep the room between 50 and 90°F. Good air circulation around the display helps prevent mold, and an occasional diluted bromeliad or epiphyte fertilizer supports new growth.
Because there’s no soil or planter, the whole piece sits on a shelf, desk or windowsill as-is. It’s compact enough for small spaces and ships ready to display, with no potting or setup needed once it arrives.
