This standing giraffe sculpture is hand-made from scrap metal, left in its raw, weathered finish rather than covered in foliage. Its tall, upright form follows a giraffe’s proportions, from the long neck to the legs, and is built to stand as a freestanding outdoor piece.
Because it’s a substantial metal piece, it needs a level, stable spot and should be anchored to the ground with stakes or concrete so it stays secure. A second person, or a professional installer, makes positioning it easier and safer.
Maintenance is straightforward: dust and dirt can be brushed off with a soft brush or cloth, and mild soap and water handles anything stubborn. Check the metal periodically for rust or corrosion and apply a rust-resistant coating if needed to keep it holding up outdoors. Covering the sculpture during extreme weather adds further protection.
This is a custom piece, made to order and quoted individually rather than sold at a fixed price.
