Some shapes are not in any catalog: a horse the size of the real one, a school mascot, the family dog. That is what this page is for. Most buyers want one of two things, a large frame to plant or pack themselves, or a finished sculpture that stands out on a lawn or in a lobby. Both start with a picture and a height. These are the questions people ask first.
Large animal topiary frames
We build custom frames to your drawing or photo, from a 48 in dancing horse to a life-size buffalo. Each one is welded steel rod, galvanized as standard, so it can stay outdoors all year. Powder coating in a color is an optional upgrade.
A big frame has two uses. Pack it with sphagnum moss for a finished shape, or set it over growing shrubs and clip them to the wire. For ready-made horses, start on our horse topiary page. For a new shape, send a side view with the height you want.
Topiary sculptures for parks and play areas
Life-size animals and dinosaurs make a landmark for a park, a school or a garden trail. The examples on this page include a 16 ft T-Rex, a rhino and a 30 ft King Kong. Every dinosaur on the site is on our dinosaur topiary page.
The covering decides the upkeep. Sphagnum moss needs water when it dries out. Turf and artificial foliage need little more than a rinse. Large pieces travel in sections, crated, and are put together on site. Tell us who will look after it and we will suggest the covering.
Bunny topiary, pets and mascots
A custom animal can be a likeness. Send photos of your dog, a school mascot or a company logo, and the frame is built to match. Logos and mascots are common requests from businesses.

How a custom topiary quote works
Send a photo or a drawing, the height, and where the piece will stand, indoors or out. Add your date if there is an event. Our team replies within hours, usually the same day.
The price you approve includes delivery. Most pieces take four to ten weeks. Hedge frames can be made to any size, and a frame for a planter can be quoted together with the planter. Frames ship across the US and Canada, small ones by parcel and large ones by freight. Photos taken from the side and the front help most.

Can you make a large topiary frame to my design?
Yes. We build custom frames to your drawing or photo. Send it with the height you want and where the frame will stand, and we come back with a design, a price and a delivery date. Frames are galvanized steel as standard.
How long does a custom topiary take?
Four to ten weeks for most pieces, depending on scale and finish. Large pieces are built in sections so they can be crated and assembled on site. If you have an event date, put it in the quote request.
How much does a custom topiary cost?

Do you install large topiary sculptures?
Yes, on anything large, across the US and Canada. Installation and anchoring are quoted with the piece. Custom topiary design and fabrication shows the kind of work involved.
Where can I buy large animal topiary frames?
Here. The large frames on this page, such as the 48 in dancing horse and the 60 in running deer, are quoted with delivery. Smaller animal frames go straight in the cart under wire frame animal topiary. For an animal we do not list, send a photo.
Do you ship topiary frames to Canada?
Yes. We ship across the US and Canada. Smaller frames go by parcel, UPS or FedEx, and large ones by freight, quoted with delivery. Returns are accepted for 15 days after delivery. If a shipment arrives damaged, refuse it.
Can a custom topiary stay outdoors all year?
Yes, the frame can. It is galvanized as standard, with powder coating as an option. The covering is what needs looking after: sphagnum moss can brown over time, and sphagnum moss care explains how to bring it back.
