Preserved juniper worked over grape wood, at the top of the tabletop sizes: about 20 to 22 inches tall and 16 to 18 inches across. Two pairs of mounds instead of one, which is where the extra height and weight come from.
Each mound is hand trimmed and set individually, and the grape wood underneath grows into its own line rather than being carved to a pattern. That is why the photograph can only show one of them.
No sun, no soil, no water. Preserved foliage has no roots to feed, so care comes down to keeping the tree dry, indoors and out of hard light, then dusting it when it needs it.
