Swimming Mermaid Topiary, Moss-Covered

This swimming mermaid topiary is a custom piece built in the workshop: a welded steel armature covered in moss, shaped into a mermaid in a swimming pose with one arm extended forward and the tail curved upward. Past work in this shape includes a mermaid built for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.It mounts on a stand designed to anchor into the ground, for planting outdoors rather than sitting freestanding. Because the surface is moss rather than a living plant, there is no watering or pruning involved — the moss simply holds its shape and color over the wire form. As with all hand-built pieces, expect small variations between individual mermaids since each one is shaped by hand. This is a made-to-order commission, quoted along with delivery so the full cost is confirmed before anything is charged.
