Description

The pom-pom, or cloud-pruned, form is trained into rounded clusters of foliage along a visible trunk, giving it a more sculptural silhouette than a solid clipped ball or cone. Because it’s a large, live plant shipped with its root ball, it qualifies for LTL freight shipping rather than standard parcel delivery, and guidance on handling and long-term care is included with the order. As a living boxwood, it needs bright, indirect light or partial sun, regular watering with the topsoil allowed to dry slightly between waterings, occasional trimming to hold its shape, and protection from extreme heat or hard frost. Its size and structured form suit framing an entrance, anchoring a patio corner, or adding height along a garden path where a tall, sculptural evergreen is wanted. Pricing and shipping are quoted together rather than listed at checkout — get in touch with your location for a quote and timeline. Made in 4 sizes, from 35-38 inches to 67-71 inches.
