A heron topiary, 28 inches long and 12 inches wide, built to the scale of a great blue heron: the tallest member of the heron family. The frame is hand-crafted from powder-coated wires of varying widths and filled with sphagnum moss. The bird’s long legs are welded directly to a metal base, which gives the figure stability standing on its own: useful next to a pond, a water feature, or anywhere it can be seen at full height, water nearby or not. Paired with other mossed animal topiaries or standing alone in a bed, its tall, slender profile stands out against lower planting. The moss fill gives the wire outline a soft, textured surface rather than a bare silhouette, so the shape reads clearly from a distance. In stock now, built and ready to ship. Made in 2 sizes, from 40 inches to 48 inches.
