This rooster topiary stands 28 inches high, 23 inches long and 12 inches wide, built as a strutting bird with a sculpted metal head, comb and tail. The rest of the body is hand-crafted wire packed with sphagnum moss, and it sits on its own metal base for stability outdoors.
The mix of solid metal and mossed wire gives it a sturdier stance than an all-moss piece, so it suits a garden bed, farmhouse-style planting or a spot near a coop or vegetable patch where the shape reads clearly.
The moss body keeps its color without mowing and can be planted through with trailing plants for a fuller look over time; the metal head and tail don’t need any planting or trimming. The base keeps the piece upright without extra staking.
As with all our topiary forms, it’s handmade, so moss coverage and proportions vary slightly from piece to piece.
