A moss monkey with one arm thrown over its head, a long curled tail and dark eyes set into the face. It stands 33 inches tall, with a stated width of 21 inches and depth of 9 inches, and the wire ribs of the frame read through the moss, so it looks like a sculpture rather than a shrub.
The frame is hand-crafted and powder-coated in our own workshop, then packed with pre-dyed sphagnum moss. Mossed pieces are built to take planting: the moss holds the roots, and each animal is manufactured in sections, which keeps shipping costs down and gives you more than one way to plant it.
It suits a garden bed, a courtyard corner, a shop window or a nursery display. Every one is made by hand, so the dimensions given are approximate and each piece comes out slightly different from the last.
We custom make any of our stock topiary to size, so if the monkey needs to be bigger or smaller for the spot you have in mind, tell us the height and we will build to it.
