A 24 by 48 inch panel in a pale wood frame, filled corner to corner with preserved moss and planted with air plants. The moss goes in as two textures: mounded dark green cushions through the middle, and ribbons of a paler, more open moss winding between them, so the surface carries relief instead of reading flat. The air plants sit in the moss at intervals, silver-grey and spiky, with a larger one blushed purple near the centre.
Preserved moss holds its colour without soil. The air plants are alive, so the panel is not a sealed object. Give it bright indirect light out of direct sun, and mist the plants every few days.
It hangs in landscape as photographed, wide enough to carry a wall on its own, over a console, a bed, a reception desk or a corridor that needs something at eye height.
Made to order. Tell us the wall and we will quote the panel and its delivery together.
