This cedar ball topiary is an 18-inch-diameter sphere of artificial cedar foliage, built with 1,044 individual foliage tips over a wire frame on a steel pipe support. The plastic foliage is UV-treated, so it’s made to hold its color outdoors rather than bleach or fade after a season in direct sun.
Because the material and frame are weather-rated, this ball works as a permanent outdoor accent — flanking an entrance, spaced along a walkway, or grouped in planters — without the watering, trimming, or seasonal dieback a live cedar ball would need. At 1,044 tips packed over the wire frame, the sphere reads as a dense, rounded canopy rather than a sparse outline.
