Why choose artificial hedges
An artificial hedge is at full height on the day it is delivered. There is no waiting for a planted row to fill in, and no gap where one shrub died. Artificial boxwood hedge for edging
Low hedge sections give a patio, a path or a gravel bed a clipped green edge. The 23 in English boxwood hedge is 12 in tall and 11 in deep. It is the full outdoor grade, so a run of them can sit in open sun all year.
Each section is a wire frame with an open, hollow bottom, and the sections line up end to end. Buy the whole run in one order. The green varies slightly between dye batches, and a straight line of hedging shows it.
Fake privacy hedge: what height screens
Check the height first. The tallest hedge section, the 37 in hedge, is 32 in tall, which makes a border at seated height rather than a screen. Set on a raised planter box, it gains the planter's height as well. It is the lighter UV grade, so it suits a patio with some shade.
For real screening, the taxus leaf hedge screen panels are 48 in tall, and bare hedge frames can be quoted at any length and height. We do not list flat boxwood wall panels. Tell us the run and the height you need.
Squares, columns and pyramids
Geometric shapes suit a modern building better than balls do. The 25 x 18 in boxwood square on a trunk looks sharp beside a shop door, the 3 ft column marks the end of a hedge run, and the 8 ft pyramid can fill a large entrance on its own.
Check the grade. The square is listed with limited UV protection, so keep it in part shade. For the column and the pyramid, ask us before they go into full sun, and brush heavy snow off tall shapes after a storm.
Artificial hedges for restaurants and venues
Restaurants use hedge sections to mark out a patio, and venues use them to hide a service door or line an aisle. Both usually need NFPA 701 paperwork for artificial plants, and nothing here is fire retardant by default.
The full-grade hedge sections can be ordered in a fire-safe version, with the retardant built into the material rather than sprayed on. Ask for it with the quote. Send the length of the run, the position and your event date, and our team will reply within hours, usually the same day.

What sizes do topiary hedges come in?
From 23 inches to 8 feet. Hedge sections run from 23 in to 37 in long, the column is 3 ft tall and the pyramid 8 ft. Bare hedge frames are quoted to any size: send the length, height and depth and we will price it with delivery.
Are these live hedges or artificial?
Artificial. The pieces here are artificial boxwood and taxus foliage, plus bare hedge frames. For a living hedge, tell us the position and we will say what would suit it, or browse live boxwood topiary.
Can artificial hedges stay outside in winter?
Yes, if they are the full outdoor grade. Brush off heavy snow, because snow and ice can break tall shapes such as the column and the pyramid. Weight or anchor each section so wind cannot lift it.
Do hedge screen panels need a fire rating on a wall?
Sometimes. When greenery panels are fixed to a wall, the local fire official may treat them as an interior finish and ask for ASTM E84 results as well as, or instead of, NFPA 701. Specifying topiary for a commercial interior has a checklist.
How long does a made-to-order hedge frame take?
It depends on the size and finish, so we give the lead time with the quote. If your date is tight, call before you rule it out.
Can you match an existing hedge or screen?
Often. Send photographs and dimensions of what you have. We will tell you which section or panel is the closest match, or quote a hedge frame built to your size.
