Christmas Topiary Ideas

The single most requested Christmas arrangement we ship. Symmetry does the work: a matched pair either side of an entrance frames the doorway and photographs beautifully at night with a string of warm white lights. Ours are live boxwood from specialist growers, clipped to a cone, or preserved juniper if the doorway is covered and you would rather never water them. Buy them as a pair; a single cone next to a door always looks like something is missing.

Pine, five feet, ball-and-pyramid profile, lit throughout. Where the spiral is formal, this one is softer and reads well against brick. Both are artificial, so they can be set out in November and left until the weather turns.

Real juniper foliage, preserved so it keeps its color and texture for years with no water and no light. This is what we send to offices, showrooms and second homes: anywhere nobody is going to be there in the second week of December to look after it.
