We supply preserved moss panels for commercial interiors such as offices, restaurants, hotels and clinics. They suit spaces where a planted wall would not survive and nobody wants a maintenance contract.
A preserved wall needs no water, lights or service visits
A preserved moss wall needs no irrigation, no extra lighting and no scheduled service visits. It is real moss, treated so it keeps its color and texture without staying alive.
A living green wall is different. It is planted, so it needs irrigation, usually extra lighting, and a service visit on a schedule for as long as it is up.
Preserved moss has limits too. It is an indoor material, and it will not tolerate direct sun or constant damp. So a south-facing atrium wall or an unventilated restroom is the wrong place for it. If what you really want is a planted, irrigated wall, we will tell you so instead of selling you this.
What is available
The framed range goes up to 24 × 48 inches. Panels come singly or as multi-panel sets designed to hang together along a longer wall.
Anything larger, cut to fit a specific wall or carrying a logo is specified and quoted from your drawings. It does not come from the standard range.
If no one will look after the wall, choose the moss-only panels. Some pieces combine moss with driftwood, and some with live air plants. The moss and the wood need no care at all. The air plants are alive and need occasional attention.
Where we are
We ship by freight anywhere in the continental United States, and quote installation per job.
- Address: 44 Washington Street, Suite #1064, Morristown, NJ 07960
How a commercial job runs
Send us the wall dimensions, a photo and where the piece is going. You get back a specification and one figure that covers the panels and the freight.
Anything unusual is settled on a drawing before anything is made. That includes a curved wall, a logo cut into the moss, or a run that has to clear pipes and vents.
We quote installation per job. Tell us the address and the access, and we will tell you whether we will fit the panels or crate them for your contractor. Larger commissions in steel and planted material follow a different process, described on commercial topiary sculptures.
