The brief
A bottle topiary has to match the bottle. People know its proportions at a glance, and a shoulder in the wrong place looks wrong to everyone. A bear is different: nobody holds a topiary bear up to a photograph.
So the piece began as a dimensioned drawing, and the build followed the drawing instead of the eye. That also made it easy to repeat at another size.
A brand shape has to read correctly as bare steel, before any green goes on. Logo and shape work is in custom made topiary.

Every piece in custom made topiary takes the same route: a drawing first, then welded steel.
An animal can be interpreted. A product cannot.
