Christmas commissions · 2026

Have something built for this Christmas.

A reindeer family on the lawn, lit spirals at the door or a landmark on the plaza, built on welded steel, covered in moss or boxwood and lit for the season. It comes back out every December. We build it to order, then deliver and install it across the US and Canada.

The lookbook

Eight ideas, drawn the way every commission starts.

These are concept renders: the first step of the real process. You approve a drawing like this, then a CAD model, before any steel is cut. Each idea names the real piece in our shop it starts from.

A reindeer family on the lawn: concept render Concept render

A reindeer family on the lawn

A buck, a doe and a fawn in mossed steel, lit with warm white. Yours can stay up as long as you like.

4–8 ft · front lawn, drive or lobby
Lit spirals at the door: concept render Concept render

Lit spirals at the door

A matched pair either side of the entrance, wrapped in micro-LEDs. It is the classic hotel doorway, and we keep your spec on file so next year’s pair matches.

6–12 ft · pairs
The landmark piece: concept render Concept render

The landmark piece

A sculpture the size of a Christmas tree for a square, plaza or forecourt, engineered, anchored and lit. We have built to forty feet, and we stood one piece where the Rockefeller tree usually goes.

A polar bear, lit cool white: concept render Concept render

A polar bear, lit cool white

A white coat over a welded frame, lit from inside. It shows up in flat daylight and glows after dark. We already build these.

Life-size · atrium, forecourt or lobby
The T-Rex in a Santa hat: concept render Concept render

The T-Rex in a Santa hat

Our dinosaurs are the pieces people find us through most often, and this one wears a Santa hat. It is the piece people cross a park to photograph.

5–16 ft · parks, venues, retail
A sleigh and horses: concept render Concept render

A sleigh and horses

Two prancing horses in mossed steel pulling a real sleigh. People stop to take photos of it on a drive, in a garden or on a public lawn.

Life-size · drives, gardens, public lawns
A pair of white swans: concept render Concept render

A pair of white swans

Two mossed-steel swans with arched necks. Set them near water and the reflection doubles them. They suit a sunroom, an atrium or a quiet entrance.

Are these photographs of real pieces?

They are concept renders, and they are labeled as such. Every commission starts this way: a picture of the idea, then a CAD drawing you approve, then a welded steel frame, then the finished piece. Photographs of finished work are on our case study and product pages.

When do I need to order for Christmas?

Order by early October for the large pieces, late October for life-size animals, and mid-November for lit frames and smaller work. If you are later than that, call us. We can sometimes build from a frame we already hold.

What do Christmas commissions cost?

Christmas commissions run from a few hundred dollars for a lit frame to five figures for a landmark piece. Each concept above names the real piece it starts from and that piece’s price. Your version is quoted with delivery, so the full cost is agreed before anything is built.

Can we use it again next year?

Yes. The pieces store well and come back out for years. We keep your spec on file for repairs, and a re-lit refresh costs a fraction of the original build.
