Built backwards from your load-in date
Send the date and the load-in window first. Build, freight and install are all scheduled against it, and we tell you straight away if it will not fit rather than finding out in week six.
Brand shapes, logos and mascots from your artwork
Send artwork or a sketch. We fabricate letters, logos, characters and one-offs, and colour-match foliage and finishes to your palette.
Fire-rated indoors, UV-rated outdoors
Specify fire-retardant foliage for enclosed venues and UV-rated material for anything outside. Both are built in at quote stage rather than retrofitted.

How the piece is engineered.
The parts of a commission a photograph does not show, and the reason a piece is still standing in five years.
Internal steel tubing above six feet
Anything over six feet gets steel tubing run inside the frame. Our pieces are not built for climbing — but if someone does climb on one, the structure will not fold. Many competitors’ frames carry no internal support at all.
Stainless, galvanised or powder-coated
The armature is welded steel, finished against corrosion for wherever it is going, and built to outlive the foliage on it rather than to hold a shape for one season.
Installed by us, and watered by itself
On-site installation for anything large, across the US and Canada. Live pieces can have automatic irrigation built in, so nobody has to remember them.

Prices are what these pieces actually start at in the shop. Anything larger or bespoke is quoted, including delivery and install.
Statement pieces and brand shapes
One-off sculptures built to your brief — a bottle, a mascot, a logo, a landmark.
Centrepieces and photo props
Small mossed animals and shapes for tables, entrances and photo moments, at the quantities an event needs.
Green walls and backdrops
Framed moss and foliage panels for step-and-repeats, bars and stage dressing.

Built in a workshop, stood up on a show floor.
The wall goes up first, the signage goes on once it is square, and the rest of the set builds out around it. Everything arrives as modules, which is what makes a tight load-in window survivable.
A build that happened
The PGA Show, built in modules and struck in a night.
A full exhibit rather than a piece in a pot: a preserved green wall carrying the event signage, large moss spheres flanking the space, faux palms framing the structure and white drapery overhead. At the centre, a turf-covered oversized chair that worked as seating and as the photograph everyone queued for.

Four steps, and what we need from you.

Send the date first
The date decides everything else. Send it with the venue, the load-in window and a photograph or sketch of the space.

You approve a design before we cut steel
You get a concept and a CAD drawing of the finished piece to sign off, so what arrives is what you approved rather than what we understood.

We build it in our own workshop
Frame welded and foliage applied here, not subcontracted. Progress photographs on request, so you approve before it ships rather than on the day.

We deliver, install and strike
Freight, placement and removal handled for larger builds. Smaller pieces ship ready to place and need nobody on site.

When do you need to commission it?
Most event pieces take 4 to 10 weeks to build, plus freight. Put your date in and we will work backwards from it.

Questions
Before you ask for a quote.
How far ahead should we book custom topiary for an event?
Book 4 to 10 weeks ahead for most event pieces. If your date is tighter than that, call before you rule it out — we can sometimes work from a frame we already hold.
Can you match our brand colours?
We match brand colours across foliage, finishes and framing. Send artwork, a colour reference or a photograph and we will tell you what is achievable in foliage before you commit to it.
Do you install on site and take it away afterwards?
We install on site and can strike afterwards for larger builds, anywhere in the US and Canada. Smaller pieces ship ready to place.
Is the foliage fire-rated for indoor venues?
Fire-retardant foliage is available and is what we specify for enclosed venues. Say so at quote stage and it is built in — a venue that asks for certification usually asks late.
Can we reuse the piece for next year?
Pieces are built to be reused. Artificial and preserved foliage travels and stores well, and we keep your specification on file, so a repair or a second piece matches the first rather than approximating it.
What happens if our date moves?
Tell us as early as you can. A date that moves later is rarely a problem; a date that moves earlier depends on where the piece is in the build, and we will say honestly whether it can be done rather than promise and miss.
