The frame is hand crafted from powder coated wire and filled with sphagnum moss, with a mane and brown eyes worked into the head. Two built in rectangular metal bases sit under each pair of hooves, so it stands on paving, decking, a lawn or a lobby floor without staking. It arrives mossed rather than planted, so there is nothing to water to keep it looking right. The moss will take live planting if you want growth across the shape, and our guides cover assembling the form, planting it up and reviving a topiary that has dried out.
