Westringea fruticosa Variegata

Westringea fruticosa Variegata

New South Wales. We were unable to resist this shrub when we found it in a California nursery even though we knew it would not be reliably hardy for us. We have managed to keep it alive and well in unheated hoop houses for many years. The common name Australian rosemary suits it well. An ideal candidate for adding to moss animal topiaries. The narrow blue green leaves are one eighth inch wide and margined in creamy white, an attractive combination. Westringea fruticosa is drought tolerant and also does well at the coast. Unfortunately, it can only be grown out of doors in frost free gardens. Seasonality is Spring. Measurements are around 3 to 5 feet x 3 feet Colors are White flowers Hardiness Zones: 9, 10, 11
